S. Loeb: “The car is ok, the set up as well. The race is different from last year, there are many new things and it’s not easy to remember all them. The road surface is always very slippery, it’s easy get wrong. Anyway we made most of our tests on gravel and I’m confident”.

M. Gronholm: “The car is ok, I’m satisfied with the set up. The race is difficult, I will try to be ahead of Loeb, last year when I withdrew, I was 40 seconds ahead. I will attack from the start”.

M. Stohl: “My target is to score points, it will be a great result to be placed within the first 5. Sardinia is a unique race, and difficult because of the gravel road – it hasn’t got much grip. At shakedown we had an hydraulic problem that we are trying to fix”.

D.Sordo: “ The car is ok. He worked hard on the car in Sardinia during our tests, and I’m confident for the race. At the shakedown I’ve found a lot of people, they were displaced very well, at the start and at the finish”.

Petter Solberg: “We had some problem with the understeering, it is fixed now, the rest of the car is ok. In spite of the 2004 race, the track has changed a lot; the special stages are always very fast. I hadn’t have time to test new tyres from BF Goodrich”.

Xavi Pons: “He signed a contract with Subaru for 8 rounds this year and for 2008 - it will be the third Subaru car from Finland”.

Mikko Hirvonen: “The car is perfect, the target is to interfere in the fight between Loeb and Gronholm, and Solberg too may be an important outsider, I love Sardinian gravel , I would like to run a great race”.

Henning Solberg: “It would be fantastic to mount the podium, even though I know I have to fight for the fourth or fifth place. I like this race, it is a kind of surface perfect for my driving style”.

Luis Perez Companc: “It is my third year in Sardinia, and I verified once again that the track changes very quickly, it’s a race with unique characteristics”.

Federico Villagra: “He will be the second driver of Munchi’s , he will replace Raies”.

Jari Matti Latvala: “I like Sardinia very much, I ran here in 2005, and I remember very well that race. Our target is to finish in the first six places. It would be wonderful mount the podium, but I’m realistic, I’m here to get experienced”.

Matthew Wilson: “Everything is ok , I hope to finish well and make the team proud”.

Chris Atkinson: “we had very good testing sessions last week in Sardinia. The car is ok, I am confident in a forth or fifth place finish. I like driving with my new co- driver”.
