RALLY D’ITALIA SARDEGNA IN A FEW WORDS

ITINERARY. Three legs and 18 Special Stages for a total length of 342,86 km will compose the itinerary of Rally d’Italia Sardegna 2007. The race will keep the same peculiarity of last editions, for example the road size is larger than usual in order to get a better fluency. More than 50% of the race is totally new, with a completely redrawn third Leg, as tradition wants. The Shakedown will be new as well, and it will be held in the morning of Thursday 17th May on the road between Sole Ruju and Monte Plebi

LOGISTIC. The service park will be located on the dock of The Industrial Harbour, Cala Saccaia, Olbia.
The Head Quarter, including Race Control and Media Centre will be set at the Hotel Melià, two km far from the Service Park.
The Service Park and the Special access will be free of charge, as successfully experimented in the last edition.
As already happened in the first and the third edition, the start and the arrival will be hosted in the charming scenery of the Old Harbour in Porto Cervo.

THE AREA. Also in this edition, the Special Stages of first two legs develops in a maximum distance of 50 km from the Service Park, in the Areas of Monte Acuto near Berchidda, Buddusò, Bitti, Pattada, Monti, and Alà dei Sardi. The third day, the race will cross the Gallura area, passing near Arzachena, Sant’Antonio and Tempio Pausania.

THE LEGS
First Leg – Friday 18th May 2007 – 6 SS for a total length of 392,72 km, SS 145,40 km.
Second Leg – Saturday 19th may 2007- 6 SS for a total length of 402,90 km, SS 142,72 km
Third Leg – Sunday 20th may 2007 – 6 SS for a total length of 266,22 km, SS 54,74.
