On the border
between Logudoro, Monte Acuto and
Gallura, situated on a plain is Oschiri,
whose ancient history is evident in the
numerous Romanesque churches found in
the area. The most important of these is
undoubtedly Nostra Signora di Castro,
erected in Lombard style in the 12th
century, and a seat of bishops until the
beginning of the 16th century. |
