Bultei is an old
agricultural and pastoral town located
at the bottom of Marghine Chain and
between the “Rio Tortu”. The city centre
is characterized by houses disposed like
a horse shoe and ninenteenth-century
buildings. It is really interesting to
visit the Church of “San Saturnino di
Usolvisi” near to the thermal centre
with the same name.
Bultei is rich in
woods and it may be considered one of
the few surviving forests of the East
Sardinia.
IT is surrounded by forest of holm-oak,
oak, yew and cork rich in wells. The
most important of these is "Spedrumele"
that provide water for the inhabitants.
It is a town of 1.350 inhabitants.
