Car #1 S. Ogier / J. Ingrassia (Ford Fiesta WRC): “Difficult day in the office? It is like expected with the grip I have, like in Mexico or Australia. It is not a surprise tyres look brand new”

Car #5 / T. Neuville / N. Gilsoul (Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC): “Good stage for us, tried to push very hard, hopefully it is enough, I pushed to the maximum, the road is getting better and better. We try to do our best. The car feels good”.

Car #10 / J.M. Latvala / M. Anttila (Toyota Yaris WRC): “Not a good time. Don’t know what I did wrong, but I am obviously not driving well. I have been a bit too careful with the tyres”.

Car #2 / O. Tanak / M.Jarveoia (Ford Fiesta WRC): “Good stage, I tried to go well, it’s getting hot and tyres are getting soft. Still slippery anywhere, does not make much difference”.

Car #6 / D. Sordo / M. Marti (Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC): “Very slippery, I enjoyed this more than the other. Very difficult to manage the car. The road was clean we are here, so it’s good. I could have been faster so for sure behind someone will be faster”.

Car #3 / E. Evans / D. Barritt (Ford Fiesta WRC): [Stopped. Off with the car stuck in the trees, crew ok]

Car #8 / C. Breen / S. Martin (Citroen C3 WRC): [Retired, a heavy front end landing on a compression that was not in the notes caused oil leak from the gearbox] “I was dreaming to get it going again but it was impossible. Will try to get back stronger tomorrow”.

Car #4 / H. Paddon / S. Marshall (Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC): “Just trying to drive clean in the dust. Something was burning in the back of the car. We have a lot of noise and fumes in the car, it looks like there is a hole in boot”. [lost splitter and carbon fiber front left, only cosmetics, tyres worn on the back, hole of a football size in the back ]

Car #7 / K. Meeke / P. Nagle (Citroen C3 WRC): “I drove carefully. It is very rough and very technical, time is not so good but it is not so important for one stage. I am happy with my rhythm”.

Car #11 / J. Hanninen / K. Lindstrom (Toyota Yaris WRC): “OK nothing special in the last one. Very very slippery. Quite challenging where someone went off. I lost some time, one more stage to go and then we think about this afternoon. Damage to the car was done yesterday evening ”. [lost time in final sector, a little knock on the back of the car, nothing too serious]

Car #9 / A. Mikkelsen / A. Jaeger-Synnevaag (Citroen C3 WRC): “Lost a bit of time in the last sector It is OK, I am trying to go step by step, it is a different from the Polo, it needs a different driving style. It is really tricky in the narrow and twisty sections, you need to have the car in your body to go fast. But we are getting there”.

Car #14 M. Ostberg / O. Floene (Ford Fiesta Rs WRC): “It was a tricky stage, very slippery and sandy, did not feel any grip. Time is not good, I do not know, I thought I had a good rhythm but the car is OK. I don’t know”.

Car #12 E. Lappi / J. Ferm (Toyota Yaris WRC): “It’s the same all the time, we are still missing 2nd gear. This is the worst rally to miss it, it is so slow so it is difficult. Just one stage to go, trying to stay on the road. I am pretty gutted”.

Car #20 Y. Al Rajhi / M. Orr (Ford Fiesta Rs WRC): “I saw Prokop. He is off almost down the slope but he is OK. Morning was not easy after four months. But now it is OK, it will take time to get the rhythm back, maybe some months. This was very nice stage, but the last 5km were very slippery”.

Car #22 J.M. Raoux / L. Magat (Citroen Ds3 WRC): “This stage was better that the first this morning. When you get on the top in the first part it is very beautiful, I am enjoying this very very much”.

Car #34 J. Kopecky / P. Dresler (Skoda Fabia R5): “The car is working really well. The speed is not correct yet, but there is more to come”.
